Bogue Systems Ultrasonic Cleaner | A Detailed Rundown

The Bogue Systems Ultrasonic Cleaner is a great purchase for anyone looking to clean their dentures or pieces of jewelry. We used it specifically to clean dentures. How well does it work when it comes down to it?

Bogue Systems Ultrasonic Cleaner Details

Bogue Systems has been around since 1892. They’re more known for producing power conversion equipment particularly for the Military and for the Marines. Their heavy duty equipment is known for its high quality and overall toughness. They’ve expanded and taken a vein of their development in another direction entirely. It’s quite surprising to see them developing a denture cleaner, but even so, they did a great job. The Bogue Systems Ultrasonic Cleaner works really well!

The Bogue Systems Ultrasonic Cleaner is quick at its job and involves very little setup. All you do is add some water and then pour a little of the Blitz Concentrated Gem and Jewelry Cleaning Solution that comes with the cleaner (also included is a small cleaning cloth). Place your dentures in the machine and let it sit for just a few minutes. That’s really all it takes to clean the desired object. There is no cleaning or rubbing involved in the whole process. All you have to do once you once the cleaning is complete is to dry the object. I was really pleased with the results that I got. My dentures were visibly cleaner than when I first put them in. The mixed water and solution was slightly dirty looking when I removed my dentures from the solution. I could tell that the machine did its job. The liquid wasn’t so dirty that I was grossed out by it. If you end up with a really dirty solution, it’s probably because the object really needed a good cleaning!

 Pros and Cons

The reviewed bundle, which you can find here, is the best version for the price. It only cost me around $34 and included a cleaning cloth and two 8oz bottles of Blitz cleaning solution. There’s another, newer version that is over $50, but the only real difference seems to be the color of the unit. The unit should last you quite a long time and you’ll probably have to buy more solution before you’re forced to buy another unit. You’ll get great mileage out of this little thing! It’s easy to store and even has a container to store your glasses or whatever else you can fit in it. At only four pounds, you can easily find somewhere to stash the thing when you don’t need to use it. You could even keep it in the bathroom on a shelf or something.

There aren’t really any glaring cons that I can write about. One potential concern could be the size of the unit. It’s not really an issue if you’re only going to clean dentures with it. The dimensions are 13.6 x 11.9 x 8 inches, which is big enough (in my opinion). Unless you’re going to clean a bicycle, I don’t really see why you’d need a larger machine. It’s all pros for this little thing!

Although I used the Bogue Systems Ultrasonic Cleaner specifically for dentures, it’s also really effective at cleaning jewelry. If you were buying the unit just to clean dentures, then you’ve got another use for the thing if you have any jewelry. It’s a nice bonus. It’s hard not to recommend this cleaner to everyone with jewelry and denture cleaning needs.

 Conclusion and Rating

The Bogue Systems Ultrasonic Cleaner works for both dentures and jewelry of different sizes. It doesn’t work for bigger objects, such as large pieces of jewelry, but that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. I definitely recommend it and give it five out of five stars!
